I am still snowed in here, so what better way to pass some time than to have a good, long moan about my sewing machine, an Elna My first machine was an old Singer made in the 60s which had a lot of use and was not worth the price it would cost to repair. I had a chat with the gentleman in the Singer shop who serviced all the machines, and he told me that Singer was no longer the best brand of sewing machine to buy.
